About SHAKHI
SHAKHI: Friends of Women is a young women-led feminist organization based in Bara District, working to empower girls and women from marginalized and excluded communities. We focus on education, leadership, sports, SRHR, and climate justice. SHAKHI believes in positive discrimination to uplift women and girls toward equality and dignity.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement M&E plans for all active projects.
- Collect, verify, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from the field.
- Develop and manage data collection tools (forms, surveys, checklists, etc.).
- Support field staff in conducting monitoring visits and ensure timely reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual progress and learning reports.
- Collect, compile, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from the field regularly.
- Design data collection tools and support field teams in conducting surveys, FGDs, and interviews.
- Maintain and update the MEAL database and documentation for each project.
- Facilitate review meetings, reflection sessions, and learning documentation.
- Maintain beneficiary databases and indicator tracking sheets.
- Ensure a functioning feedback and complaint mechanism for community accountability.
- Document case studies, success stories, and lessons learned.
- Contribute to proposal development by providing evidence and data insights.
- Ensure data quality, confidentiality, and ethical standards are maintained at all times.

Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in M&E or data management.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office and digital tools (Kobo, Google Forms, etc.).
- Strong communication skills in English and Nepali (local language preferred).
- Commitment to feminist values and willingness to work in rural field settings.
